Announcement: Opening of ENIE Interim Executive Committee
According to Resolution of EMNIE General Assembly, EMNIE shall change its name to European Network for Industrial Ecologists, abbreviated ENIE.
ENIE Interim Executive Committee now opens - join if seriously interested
Based on calls for transparency and broad participation voiced during the ENIE meeting in Goteborg on 26th April 2014, the current ENIE temporary board (see Team) opens up for Industrial Ecologists seriously interested in shaping the organization before official elections are held in September/October 2014. The new Executives will join the E(M)NIE founding team for the management of the organization during interim period.
Requirements:
Hard-working
Integrity and Commitment
Open-minded
Fair and transparent intentions & honesty
Duties:
Co-creating the ENIE constitution
Preparing the legal grounds: formalization of the organization
Contribution to strategic decisions
Important note:
We are an adorable crowd but this part of ENIE is serious business. Being on the Interim Executive Committee brings very few rewards yet implies a lot of political/legal-like work and potentially stressful negotiations that not everyone enjoys, so please make sure you understand the characteristics of your involvement and apply with clear confidence, determination and loyalty to the vision of a better tomorrow for Industrial Ecologists and the development of the organization itself, respectively.
Interpretation:
The E(M)NIE Founding Team holds the right for the interpretation of procedures and decisions for establishing ENIE Interim Executive Committee. The Founding Team functions as overseeing body.
The deadline for applications is Sunday, 4th May 2014 23:59 GMT+1. Apply to [email protected]."
